ADVERBIAL CLAUSE

Adverbial clause is clause with function as adverb and for explain verbal word.

Adverbial clause always classified as mean from conjunction. The kind of adverbial clause is :

1. clause Of Time

Clause to mention a time. Usually made by using conjunction word like after, before, no sooner, while, as and other.

Ex:

·         She’s leave after eaten steak.

·         Shut the door before you go out.

·         By the time I arrive, lita will have left.

2. Clause Of Place

Clause which to check a place. It’s usually build with conjunction word like where, nowhere, anywhere, wherever, and other.

Ex:

·         Go where you like.

·         They sat down wherever they could find empty seats.

3. Clause of Contrast (or Concession)

Clause which mention there is conflict between two incident or event that related. It usually build with conjunction like, although, though, even though, whereas, even if, in spite of, as the time, and other.

Ex:

·         As the time you were playing, we were studying hard.

·         She is very friendly, even if she is a clever student.

·         Itha wanted to stop, whereas I wanted to go on.

4. Clause Of Manner

Clause which show how to complete a work or tragedic happen. Usually build with using conjunction like, as, how, like, in, that, and other.

Ex:

·         You may finish it how you like

·         He did as I told him

5. Clause Of Purpose and Result

Clause which mention related between purpose and result. Usually build with using conjunction like, (in order) that, so that, in the hope that, to the end that, lest, in case, and order.

Ex:

·         They went to read the novel early (in order) to find the best seats.

·         She is saving her money so that she may take a long vacation.

·         He bought a book so (that) he could learn Mathematic.

6. Clause Of Cause and Effect

Clause showing cause and effect. Theresome form model to build a clause :

Ex:

·         Via swim so fast that she broke the previous speed record.

·         It was so hot yesterday that I didn’t want to play.

·         The cake tastes so good that everyone will ask for more.

·         Because of the storm, we couldn’t get to work.

Ex:

·         I had so few task offers that it wasn’t difficult to do.

Ex:

·         They are such a beautiful pictures that everybody will want one

7. Clause Of Condition

Clause which indicated the existence of the requirements between the two tragedic related. Usually build with conjunction like if, even if, unless, in the even that, or in even that, in case, provided(that), on condition that, if only, suppose (that), supposing that and other.

Ex:

·         If I see her, I will invite her to launch tomorrow.
